This is a course offered to teach students how to use computers, to develop problem-solving skills, to become acquainted with the capabilities and limitations of a computer, and to increase one’s intellectual knowledge.  Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to produce acceptable documents from the computer system.  Their knowledge gained from this course will be very beneficial in personal life as well as in business related careers.  These skills are in demand in today’s job market.  Students will have an in-depth training on Microsoft Office 2003, which consists of Word Processing, Excel (spreadsheets), Access (database), and Power Point presentation.  They will be able to integrate all four of these programs.  They will have exposure to the Internet, e-mail, and scanning.
